I'm a wedding photographer in Queenstown. New Zealand. Originally from the UK, i'm super fortunately to be able to call this little slice of mountain heaven home, with my partner Greg and our golden boy Finn, Our life is centered around the outdoors, spending our time hiking, fishing, camping, and discovering new spots together. This love for adventure and nature spills over into my photography, i'm always on the look out for beautiful new locations to share with my couples.
Photography has been my passion since I bought my first point-and-shoot at as a teenager. I've always loved documenting moments, from family Christmas's to camping trips in the mountains, you'd never see me without a camera.

Hello, it’s so nice to meet you - I’m Melissa, a destination wedding photographer inspired by the fleeting, beautiful moments that make each love story one-of-a-kind.
My journey started with a little point-and-shoot camera at 13. I was obsessed with documenting my family and friends, and as I grew, that passion expanded to capturing the landscapes that surrounded me. Eventually, those two loves collided, and I found myself drawn into the world of weddings, where human connection and breathtaking scenery come together in the most magical way.
I still get that same childlike excitement when I open a new set of film scans, not knowing what gems were captured. It’s the sneaky glances, the stolen kisses, the way the last light dances on the mountaintops as a day winds down, those perfectly imperfect moments are why I do what I do. If those things matter to you too, I know we’ll create something unforgettable together.

We hired Melissa for our January wedding and it was the best decision we made!! Melissa is so incredibly fun to be around and is fantastic at making you feel relaxed in front of the camera (of which we are naturally awkward). We found Melissa on Instagram and fell in love with her style of photography and editing. We really wanted a photographer that would capture the beautiful Queenstown landscape but also our love as well, and she did it better than we could have ever imagined. We are so in love with our photos and we still only have the sneak peak. If you’re looking for a photographer in central Otago we could not recommended her enough.
