I’ll arrive bright and early to settle in quickly and say hi to everyone before I start shooting. I want to make sure that everyone (especially you) is 100% comfortable and pumped for the day ahead

Throughout your day, I’ll be weaving in and out to make sure I catch every precious moment, including moments that went unseen. That quick kiss at the dinner table or tucking that loose strand of hair behind your ear. All the moments that make your heart flutter

I’ll be the chameleon you want me to be – whether you want me to be the ringmaster herding everyone up for a shot, or to sneak around in the background, capturing all the natural, candid moments. No cheesiness or cringy, forced poses here!

Behind the scenes!
Alright, so let me take you behind the curtain and show you what happens when I edit photos. First off, it's not just about making the pictures look pretty. It's about telling a story, especially when it's about capturing your love story. So, imagine I'm like a painter, but instead of a canvas and paints, I have a computer and some fancy software.
When I start editing, I dive deep into each photo. Over the past 10 years I have perfected my craft to create timeless, true to colour edits. Every photo will be adjusted to be consistant with my look. But that's just the start!
Next, I focus on the details. I might remove any distractions in the background, like a random person walking by or an unsightly lamppost sticking out. If you wake up the morning of your wedding and a pesky pimple has reared its head, i got you. I can remove this from your images, i wont however edit anything else about how you look unless we have spoken about this prior.
Now, here's the thing. This whole process takes time. Lots of it. I want to make sure that every single photo tells your story and does justice to the love shared. So, I put alot of love into each edit, making sure it's just right.
Whilst capturing your wedding takes skill and time, It's not just about snapping a few pics and calling it a day. It's about dedicating hours of undivided attention to crafting something truly special, something that the couple can cherish for years to come.
So, when you see those stunning photos of a couple's big day, just remember the love and care that went into creating them. It's not just about the clicks of a camera!
FAQ's
Where are you based?
I’m based in Queenstown New Zealand, but shoot all around Otago and beyond. I often head overseas for the European summers, taking on a limited number of bookings internationally.
How do we book?
If you would like to lock in your Queenstown Wedding Photographer, the process is easy! Contact me here, fill out the form and we can get the ball rolling. Take a look over my wedding collections and then i will send you a contact to review and sign, and a 25% deposit is required. From here we can then either set up a payment plan or the remaining balance can be paid 2 weeks prior to your day.
When do we receive our images?
I think its important to be able to have some photos of your wedding as quickly as possible, for you to share with your family and have something ot look back on. I make sure i give all my couples a sneak peek of their gallery within 48 hours of your wedding date, this can be anywhere from 10 - 50 photos. Then it may take up to 3 months for you to receive your fulll gallery back in busy season.
