As far as views go, Deer Park Heights is unbeatable. With unobstructed views straight down Lake Wakatipu, this Queenstown proposal location is the best spot for a sunset proposal. Easy to disguise as an evening activity, with farm animals to feed on your way to the view point and heaps of Lord Of The Rings movie locations, its a must do in Queenstown regardless of your plans. Once you have done the deed, there are plenty of locations we can go to for your photoshoot. I always recommend a 2 hour session for this location as there is just so much to see!

You want to get engaged on a mountain in Queenstown? Check one of our most iconic mountains, Coronet Peak. It’s high above town, with stunning views over The Remarkables mountain range. Coronet Peak has so many hidden locations for you to get one one knee in privacy. This spot is best for sunrise or sunset, and is an awesome spot to propose year round. The summer provides beautiful golden grasses and golden light, the winter it transforms into a snowy playground. Discover Wanaka’s gem, Jasons Clearing. A secluded spot overlooking Lake Wanaka, perfect for your proposal photos! Tucked away, it provides an intimate space for sweet moments—a gorgeous place for your Wanaka Proposal. It is also just a stones throw from town, so you can celebrate at one of the many wineries in the area after they’ve said yes!

Mount Cook is a truely special place, making it an exceptional and unforgettable location to propose, only 2.5 hours out of Queenstown.
