Davina and Doug’s wedding was a day packed with love, laughter, and unforgettable moments. Their May wedding was blessed with warm weather and clear skies—perfect for a day of celebration with family and friends. As a Queenstown wedding photographer, I had the best time capturing every bit of their amazing day.
The ceremony took place on the lawn at Stoneridge Estate. With its beautiful gardens and stunning views, this Stoneridge wedding location set the stage for a romantic and intimate ceremony. The vibe was joyful and relaxed, with Davina and Doug surrounded by their nearest and dearest as they exchanged vows.
After the ceremony, we took off in a vintage car for some fun photos. Doug, who loves old cars, was in his element, and the classic ride added a cool, timeless touch to their wedding album. The clear skies gave us perfect lighting, making every shot look like something out of a movie.
The party kicked off at Reds Bar in Queenstown, a lively spot with killer 180-degree views of the Queenstown landscape. The reception was an absolute blast. Each member of the bridal party made a grand entrance with their own dance routine, setting the tone for a night full of fun and celebration. The energy was off the charts, and the dance floor was packed all night.
As the night went on, guests were treated to an incredible sight: a huge aurora storm from the southern lights. This natural light show lit up the night sky and added an extra layer of magic to the evening. With Reds Bar's unbeatable views, the aurora lit up the dance floor and created a surreal, enchanting atmosphere.
Davina and Doug’s Queenstown wedding was all about celebrating their love and having a great time with family and friends. The combo of a perfect location, clear skies, a vintage car, and an epic party made for a day everyone will remember. As their Queenstown wedding photographer, capturing these moments was an absolute joy.
If you’re planning your own wedding and want every magical moment captured, let’s chat and make your Queenstown wedding as unforgettable as Davina and Doug’s.
