Gen and Genaro’s wedding at Manata Lodge in Queenstown was nothing short of perfection, capturing their cool, easy-going style perfectly. They chose a sunny February afternoon to say their vows, surrounded by Queenstown’s epic mountains and their nearest and dearest who had flown in from Australia and Scotland.
The ceremony took place on the lodge’s lawn, with Queenstown's impressive mountainous backdrop as the couple made their promises to each other.
Dinner was a highlight, thanks to Chef Brandon, who whipped up a feast that was as delicious as it was Instagram-worthy. The spread included fresh crayfish, various meats, and vibrant veggies that looked every bit as good as they tasted. The tables were dressed up with colorful flowers picked by the couple themselves from a Wanaka flower farm the day before, adding a really personal and rustic touch to the elegant setup.
As the evening rolled in, the vibe turned beautifully emotional. Speeches from friends and family brought out tears and laughter, with so many heartfelt stories, jokes, and toasts that really made everyone feel connected. It was a night filled with love, and everyone shared more hugs and kisses than they could count.
To top it all off, as the night wound down, Queenstown treated everyone to one of its spectacular sunsets. The sky turned a brilliant purple, adding a stunning end to an already perfect day. Gen and Genaro’s wedding was a laid-back, joy-filled celebration of their love, shared with close friends and family in one of the most beautiful places they could imagine.
